MUNJA
Social innovations incubator „MUNJA“ is one of the leading non-governmental non-party organization at the state level, which works to improve the situation of young people increase their active role in society and employability in the labor market. Munja was created in 2001 from the Joint Youth Program – Open Society Fund Bosnia and Herzegovina – Soros Foundation. Until the spring of 2016 it had the name of the Youth Information Agency (OIA).
Munja / OIA in numbers:
- Through our training programs we trained more than 90,000 young people from the entire country;
- We have organized more than 2,500 local and international meetings for young people;
- As leaders in youth info work, since 2003, we have published more than 30,000 useful information for young people with more than 4 million visits;
- We (co)produced more than10 different TV shows for young people to public broadcasters with over 100 episodes and more than 7,000 performances in over 120 domestic and foreign media;
- Through our policy work, we have participated in almost all relevant studies on the situation in BiH, and affected more than 100 institutional changes concerning youth ;
- In our organization, more than 300 young people gained their first work experience, and more than 1,000 had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and the world;
- We have had cooperation and partnership with more than 250 high schools, universities, 500 organizations, over 400 institutions of all levels of government, the media, 50 international organizations and embassies and others.
